A child's play is their work and a child's work is their play

Our nursery was opened and passed by OFSTED on the 5th July 2006 and is registered for up to 26 children aged 0-5 years, with two rooms available:
• Under 2's Room
• Over 2's Room

The children have access to a water machine and fresh fruit throughout the day.

The Under 2's Room
During the course of the day the children have access to a wide variety of experiences and activities including treasure baskets, comfy cushions, books, play mats, and varied lighting. There are also painting, creative, malleable, sand and water activities on offer. The children can also choose from a wide selection of construction, small world and role-play toys. During their daily routine the children will also enjoy story times, singing and music.

The Over 2's room
This is a large room with a craft area for painting, which also includes messy play, water play and sand trays. The children can choose from a large variety of toys and equipment including a role-play area where they can use a wide range of safe props.
They also have access to a variety of mark-making tools such as pens, pencils, crayons, collage materials, paint and glue. Construction and small-world toys include large building blocks, stickle bricks, cars, garage, farm and much more.
To give children a head start in the world of IT, they have access to the computer area with software appropriate to each age group, and are encouraged to explore other ICT equipment such as tough cameras and voice recorders. There is a separate carpeted room leading off the large room, with comfy cushions offering space for children to take part in quiet activities, such as reading.
There are child-sized toilets, sinks and a place where children can hang their coats and belongings.

Outdoors
We have a large area and an additional smaller area for younger children, both of which are fenced and have a safe surface. There is a wide selection of ride-along toys, bicycles and tricycles. Balls, hoops, assault courses, games and activities are all available outdoors to the children.
