A child's play is their work and a child's work is their play

Our nursery was opened and passed by OFSTED on the 26th June 2004 and is registered for up to 40 children aged 0-5 years, with two rooms available:
• Under 2's Room
• Over 2's Room

The nursery has a small kitchen area, separate bathroom facilities with mounted wall change area and storage for children’s nappies. The children have access to a water machine and fresh fruit throughout the day.

The Under 2's Room
During the course of the day the children can engage in a wide variety of experiences and activities including a sensory area where they can find a variety of textures and materials, treasure baskets, comfy cushions, books, play mats, and varied lighting. There are also painting, creative, malleable, sand and water activities on offer. The children can also choose from a wide selection of construction, small world and role-play toys. During their daily routine the children will also enjoy story times, singing, dancing, music and outdoor play.

Over 2's Room
The room has an area for messy play including water play, sand trays and a large double-sided easel for painting. We also offer other malleable materials for the children to explore such as clay, flour and water.
The children can choose from a large variety of toys and equipment including a role-play area where they can develop their imagination using a wide range of safe props.
The Creative area offers a variety of mark-making tools such as pens, pencils, crayons, felt tips, envelopes, collage materials, paint and glue. Construction and small-world toys include large building blocks, Duplo, stickle bricks, cars, garage, dolls house with furniture, farm, people and much more.
To give children a head start in the world of IT, they have access to the computer area with software appropriate to each age group, and are encouraged to explore other ICT equipment such as tough cameras and voice recorders.
There are child-sized toilets, sinks and a cloakroom area where children can hang their coats and belongings.

Outdoors
We have three separate areas that are fenced and each has a safe surface with a section for plants, flowers and an area for children to grow their own vegetables. There is a large climbing frame and a wide selection of ride-along toys, bicycles and tricycles. Balls, hoops, assault courses, games and activities are all available outdoors to the children.
